Hey, man, there’s a couple blue islands down here. At least give us a heads-up before this nuking business.

Did you ever drink Baileys from a shoe?
Neither does protectionism. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but isi policies that make imports expensive also hurt the working class. Overall free trade might be fine if it’s combined with a more robust welfare state.
I’ve heard soccer’s pretty bad with it too. Maybe badminton is the answer.
That’s not saliva…
7754 is the PIT count of people homeless at one given point in time. Many, many more cycle through homelessness in any year.
The media is avoiding it…like all the media cited in this post? Or the NY Times article today discussing many of the points in those articles? Or the OP article? I’m so tired of news outlets reporting on news outlets. The news isn’t news, I want actual news about events.
How many hours did you get in?
Almost 700 people have pleaded guilty or have been convicted for j6. Some of the leaders, like Tarrio, are going away for a very long time. Of course it takes a long time to bring a case against Trump himself, but the narrative that nobody’s facing consequences is a little disingenuous at this point. https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/30-months-jan-6-attack-capitol
9/10. Needs at least one pickle innuendo.
WTF is life coaching? Have a facebook acquaintance who did some class and calls herself one, after being a yoga instructor. Like–why would you take advice from a person of middling success? Is it just another MLM where people calling themselves life coaches teach other people to be life coaches so they can teach more life coaches?
Site exists, but it’s part of the schtick. It’s Alan Wagner, @truewagner on insta.
He never had to take the stand in the first >place. He didn’t even have to be in the courtroom.
I thought he did have to take the stand, but didn’t have to be there for the rest of the trial. AFAIK he’s compelled to testify (or take the fifth, but he and the kids have to do one or the other).
Seriously though, why did Jesus curse that fig tree? He could be weirdly petty.
BTW, myrrh had lots of uses besides embalming.
Oof. I wonder how that will work in the case of infrastructure like roads and bridges–long term tolls? At some point it has to eat away at whatever good will the Chinese were trying to buy.
What happens if countries just default? Do non-Chinese lenders care? Does it trash bond ratings across the board?
I’m an old man, and do 5k a few times a week for context. Started doing a battery of dynamic stretches a few months back and I really love it. Gets me warm and adequately stretched, and I haven’t pulled anything since I started this instead of traditional stretching. I figured it out and it was still a huge disappointment. Only worse game was Journey: Escape.
That’s usually about health insurance. Keeps their premiums down if they offer health as a benefit. Doesn’t make it right, but it is not a morality thing on the firm’s part.
