@TruthSandwich@sfba.social I could shoot a Palestinian child in the middle of fifth avenue and it would be Hamas’s fault.
We’re done here.

@TruthSandwich@sfba.social the existence of militants within a civilian population does not justify indiscriminate extermination of that civilian population. It didn’t in Vietnam, it didn’t in Mosul, it didn’t in Grozny, it didn’t in Aleppo, it didn’t in Mariupol, and it does not in Rafah. A month from now, Gaza will be more thoroughly destroyed than any of those (north Gaza already is).
@TruthSandwich@sfba.social depopulating entire cities and willfully rendering them uninhabitable isn’t war, it’s genocide. This is 1% self defense and 99% opportunistic ethnic cleansing.
@TruthSandwich@sfba.social Hamas didn’t invent guerilla warfare, and pretending that it’s something new is almost as gross as justifying leveling entire neighborhoods because there might be a Hamas hiding in one of the buildings. Do you think the Irgun didn’t hide themselves among the civilian population? The Stern Gang?
Should the UN have leveled Tel Aviv after the assassination of Bernadotte, because any given building might have Lehi hiding in it?
@TruthSandwich@sfba.social What you seem to be missing is that 33% of all buildings in Gaza have been destroyed with US bombs by the IDF.
@TruthSandwich@sfba.social Israel is harmed far more by US politicians who enable the worst of its behavior than by politicians who accurately describe war crimes. Israel’s real friends will tell it when it’s in the wrong. Jimmy Carter is, objectively, the best friend Israel ever had in the White House, and he was the first to use the word “apartheid”
@pluralistic@mamot.fr this is the same mistake made when people misconstrue “Property is theft.” An iPhone is a possession, not property. Apple shares are property.
@cheost @genericnickname right, but that just means that a 1x1x1 mobikube weighs slightly less than a metric ton. Oh no they’ve invented a new short ton.
I mean paper maps had the same problem. That road going north from Arco, Idaho that cuts 150 miles off your trip?
