Well, AI is still going to be a buzzword for capitalists to throw around, as it does actually have uses and big profit usages in certain fields. Just, like, it’s certain fields. Then the grifters will continue to try to extrapolate that success to increasingly far removed use cases, with increasingly stupid promises.

Well, there’s plenty of people that aren’t full anti-communists in these spaces, that read what we say and get affected by it. Without bot swarms manipulating vote counts, we really are kind of showing that a lot of the common talking points are stupid, or at least not fully true, when we argue against them. I think it’s good to try to radicalize and educate the random fence-sitters, grow the overall community.

I went swimming again this summer for the first time in years. It was great. Finally comfortable enough to do that kind of stuff again.

It probably took me 80 hours or so. I didn’t rush through it. I tried to experience everything, barring stuff like I missed because of choices.

I’m not the biggest fan of 5e compared to stuff like pathfinder, but it was still enjoyable. Larian made some tweaks to the system to give more options in combat, and there were lots of fun roleplaying opportunities. The ending wasn’t the best, and you could sort of see some degradation of quality in later bits, but it was still fun and worth playing.

I played a “ethically ambiguous” drow lady, with the Dark Urge origin. I’d recommend playing that one if try it. It’s a dark story, but it’s basically the main character origin.

I finished Baldur’s Gate 3, so now I’m finally free again.

I don’t think anyone here really supports Russia, in the sense that we want them to conquer Ukraine. More that we don’t see prolonging the war as useful for anything but killing more people and selling more weapons. Peace is what we should all aim for here.
