I used to use Super to open the application selector menu thing (similar to the start menu on my system). But I recently tweaked my keyboard shortcuts to add a bunch of ones using Super for application switching and stuff, so rebound it to Super+w.

Something else that was added is custom vote displays; in the settings you can change how votes are displayed, as either upvotes only, a percentage or raw numbers. I installed an update to Jerboa recently, and it defaulted to showing everything, so if that happened to anyone, you can now turn it off in your Lemmy settings.

If you’re worried about stability, I think the NTFS driver will probably be more widely used and tested than WinBTRFS. Of course, nothing is 100% bug free, and disks can fail at any time for no reason. Instead of looking for a stable filesystem, I’d suggest setting up backups such that a random failure every few years doesn’t cause everything to be lost.

Check /etc/skel/.bashrc, if it’s in there as well, it was set up by your distro.

What it does is check for the existence of ~/.bashrc.d and, if it finds one, sources all the files inside it. This effectively means that you can create script files like ~/.bashrc.d/myfile.sh and they will have the same effect as if they had been put directly into .bashrc. Some people prefer having one file for each “bashrc thing” whilst some prefer just having one big file. Ultimately it’s personal preference.

Been playing Kitsune Tails recently, which is basically a modern version of Mario Bros 3. I’m at a super advanced post-game level where they are trying to teach me how to shell jump. I’m going to give it a break until I can get into a “grind until I learn the mechanic” headspace.
