creating things costs money. crowdfunding platforms like patreon have already proven an incredibly powerful avenue to enable independent creators who are passionate about things to share that with an audience. entertainment is, in fact, a job, which requires resources and time, and i loathe the implication that it isn’t.
unfortunately i still have to side against national firewalls even when i think they’re extremely funny
i’ve been obsessed with them for the entire past year, they genuinely might be the first band i’ve been more obsessed with than TMBG lmao
once again the divide between being tech-savvy and tech-native rears it’s ugly head. no, gen z is not exceptionally tech-savvy compared to previous generations, i can confirm most of my peers are tech morons. they’ve just been raised with smartphones and therefore know that specific UX language better than previous generations
