  • who cares?

Well, looks like I’ve got some upvotes and i got a reply from you so I’m guessing some people care. Tbh you just sound like a wet rag here and if you only want to hear about things you agree with then you can go talk to a mirror.

I’m fully aware some people are excited for HL3 whenever it comes out and some people are content to wait. I’m merely stating that the ship has sailed for me. Heaven forbid someone doesn’t consider gabe a golden god.

There’s also the option of renting which would provide more freedom as I’m still young, freedom of movement and all of that.

Imo if you don’t know if you want to buy vs rent a house then you’re not ready to buy a house (or it isn’t your dream house). So the choice is clear imo to stay with your current arrangement. You can continue to save, get free childcare, and spend time with your parents-- they won’t be around forever.

  • You’re talking about sentient beings capable of making informed consent then as a vegan i would have no problem with the feces being used. Veganism is aimed to eliminate animal suffering and here we have a naturally occurring byproducts in which an animal is making informed consent and not being taken advantage of.

However, I’m not a big enough trekkie to know how the replicated food is programmed to begin with. Ive talked about this with my SO before but when you have lab grown meat then it still would’ve been result of a nonconsenting animal at some point and not strictly vegan. Replicated meat products are in the same category i believe. Also perhaps the food programming process used non-meat foods that didn’t derive from animal suffering to begin with (like a vegan burger that is deceptively convincing).

    Great shitpost ;)

  • It also confused me at first. Here’s what i (not an expert) make of it: sounds like mangione and his lawyer had a phone call which should have been private. The district attorney probably was listening to mangiones other calls, and this attorney call was recorded or handed over to district attorney in error. The district attorney initially said they immediately stopped listening once they recognized it was an attorney call, but they actually listened to the entire thing which is a huge violation of attorney-client privilege

Venmo, or any service, would be responsible for producing said tax form if they are also reporting the funds to the IRS. So she would be made aware of the tax form.

If anyone wants to test this though you’re welcome to venmo me $601. I’ll take a few volunteers just to make sure there are no flukes

  • I mean that he has shown bad judgement and couldn’t help himself from messaging his SIL in an escalation that is clearly against the bounds of his relationship with the sister. So in the case of an addict he would be addicted to the feeling of doing this type of behavior. People can get addicted to all sorts of things, behaviors or activities. In this case i think he “couldn’t help himself” from making a bad decision, which does show to me on some level he could be addicted to some part of this.

  • Ive been vegan for more than a decade and most of my circle is vegan. I don’t think i know of any vegans against cut flowers. The only argument i can see is that if you were cutting flowers found in the wild then you could be harming the environment which indirectly hurts the wildlife and pollinators. But i think most vegans would be ok with buying flowers. My wife and i also just grow our own and cut only a fraction of what we plant.

Btw if we’re talking about Costco for chicken, they do have reasonably sized bouquets for as cheap as $10. And while that chicken will be gone in a day or two, Ive kept a Costco bouquet alive for my wife for a minimum of a week.
