Not the greatest perhaps, but a problem still.

You don’t, you only try not to lose.
manigordo@lemy.lolto Lemy Meta@lemy.lol•lemy.lol is 2 years old! (with a downtime 🤦♂️)English1·23 days agoCongrats, I’ve just joined a few days ago but I’m loving it in here!
I’d probably be pull over by the police officers everyday.
I work for an US company and I got a day off, it is curious, cause Im from Costa Rica, and I belong to the bribri indigenous nation, and we commemorate Pa Bru day, an ancient leader who stopped Spanish incursions to our land in 1710. So I wish, from the deepest of my soul and for my ancestor that you, US fellows, rebel!
manigordo@lemy.lolto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Non-Americans, what's it like when you're sick and need to go to the doctor?2·28 days agoCosta Rica : You can have an appointment the same or the next day, and appointmens can be requestet online, by phone or getting to the nearest medical medical center. Costa Rica’s social security covers everything, from medication to surgery and you are covered for the next theree months if you lose your job. There are few surgeried that are not practiced in the country as some may need technology that we do not have. The cons of Costa Ricas social health’s service is that for some processes the waiting lines are very long and could take even a year or more. Might not be as good as european social health’s services, but for a third world country I think is not any bad.
I have no idea how to read a map, so I would be lost anyway.
