… and again. Not the same.
Do not get me wrong. I used to love custom ROMs since the days of android 1.6.
But if I pay 500€ and more for a phone I would not risk to unlock the bootloader. For my specific device (Samsung A52s) the camera app does not even open if I unlock the bootloader using the stock ROM.
Unfortunately it is not feasible for every day use. Camera, payments, netflix…
For an old phone, yes. It’s a good idea.
What about the camera? That’s the only real problem for me.
Make sure to check for camera support. When I unlocked the bootloader from an old Xperia phone, camera performance was reduced a lot.
Pictures were never the same after that.
