  • It doesn’t really matter if we think they’re people. It doesn’t really matter if they are. We (all the worthy humans) should treat them as non people.

I can’t see a negative here beyond false identification. If there was an objective, without a doubt way to measure if someone was a Nazi, I would support genociding them (and only them). Proactively. It should simply be as illegal to just be a Nazi on the same level as it would be to murder an entire country’s population.

Turns out that is either impossible or we’re millions of years from figuring out how to do that safely (safe in terms of not harming non Nazis). But the minute we do I’d be on board with punishing them for daring to be born. There is no world of timeline in which being Nazi isn’t worthy of immediate execution.

But since all of that is a pipe dream, in the mean time we can at least celebrate when they get taken out naturally. I wouldn’t like rub it in the family’s face (unless they were Nazis as well) or anything, but I’m definitely not even gonna act sad about it. The more pain they feel as they die, the harder I laugh. Tough lessons suck to learn. Sorry NOT sorry.

As a last note, I think that would be the better world, and it would be defending ourselves from their existence, which is a threat to everyone. As long as that idea is still in someone’s head, no one is safe.

  • Crippling?

Let’s just literally destroy their entire government and then help Palestine properly and have them beg Palestine for help. They should have had their entire legs chopped off after the first civilian hospital blew up. We need some zero tolerance.

If Israel stops existing, then oh well. They had their chance. Plus I kinda wanna see it go just to watch Christians absolutely implode as their big God vs Satan set-up just dissipates.

There would probably be 2 initial reactions. People will either start dropping out of faith, or there will be some new prophecy that says “oh we were wrong it’s actually Palestine in the end times this whole time”

It’s really annoying that their end times stuff does actually mention something that exists now, so they can still point to that as lack of proof against them. So personally I’d be more than ok for them (Israeli government) to just get absolutely obliterated just to have something fun to watch.

I’m outta popcorn, but if I hear Israel bites it I’m grabbing as much as I can hold.

  • I’ve never understood the hair thing for women tbh.

Oh no, we can’t have a leg that’s not naked!

Not a woman, but as someone that wouldn’t run from someone who believes comfort is more important than anally checking every hair’s length to make sure it is invisible at any moment, just saying I exist, and while this isn’t a conversation I have very much, there’s gotta be others like me.

I know society’s cooked on the issue, but not all of us will judge you for this.

I remember growing up (even having sisters) I just assumed that women barely grew any, and therefore it was something they only had to do a couple times a year or so.

Then after my first girlfriend I learned how much they do it and how much they tend to stress about it, and especially on special occasions. I had no idea (my sisters literally never even talked about it- to me at least, so the idea that we would be pretty much the same if they didn’t shave constantly blew my mind.

I mean I barely started accumulating much chin hair yet, but I definitely wasn’t concerned about how much that was showing. And I instantly thought it was unfair.

    I’m so sorry y’all.

  • Well I guess I wasn’t the only one.

Only took about a day to get it figured out and reset.

For reference, I only have 3 devices attached. 2 lights and an outlet that is basically another light as it’s connected to a dumb LED strip (aka I can’t use Assistant to control it or change the colors or pattern of changes, I just control the outlet to turn on do I can turn the strip itself effectively on and off- I still need the manufacturer’s app to change the colors and brightness- and as fucking terrible as that app is, at least it works; it has ads and needs an account, but it does function).

More often than not I turn on/off the lights at the same time, and the strip separately, or I turn all 3 on and off together.

When I do them all together, I use the command “bedroom off”.

When the issue affected me, the symptom was that only my night stand light would respond.

In the Google Home app, all 3 were still associated with the bedroom, but only the night stand responded to the spoken command.

I changed the other 2 items to another room and then signed them back to the bedroom, and it’s fine now.

There is one other oddity that might be Google’s fault, or maybe the light itself. The other light (not the night stand) will occasionally register as “offline” and doesn’t respond to commands at first.

Then the Nest speaker starts to announce “(that light) is offline and can’t be (something or other)”

But it usually triggers while the message is still being said (which is why I can’t remember the rest of the error- it usually fixes and it stops saying the message when the light finally heard the message and changes).

  • Removable battery is #1. My old Galaxy S3 (not even my first phone-yes I’m old) has absolutely godawful battery life but I had I think 4 total batteries around to make sure I could always have it even on a heavy use day. That sucked, but at least it was doable with a really easy process (peel off plastic back, pull out and swap battery, snap the backplate back on).

I keep an old phone around and sometimes use it to play like a video for my cats to watch if they’re laying on my bed when I’m not in there. But it has to stay plugged in because it loses the first 20% in about 15 minutes.

And that phone in particular (a pixel 2) is particularly a pain to replace the battery in the first place.

  • Yeah, I’m trying to work on it specifically.

I haven’t seen the other threads (when I first replied, there was at most 1 other reply), but I was ready to drive that meaning at you, but when I went to get the evidence to back it up, the evidence surprisingly didn’t favor it.

So I had to go back to the drawing board. Even as far away as the drawing board was. By which I mean my assumed sexuality’s definition.
