And that’s assuming Lemmy acquires anywhere near the user base reddit had. Reddit just has so much useful information that doesn’t exist elsewhere yet and will for sure take years to come close to.

Wefwef has been the best for me so far. I’m a previous Boost for Reddit user, so I’m still waiting for their official Lemmy release and then I’ll switch.
That’s why everyone needs an alt on https://lemmynsfw.com/ .
Exactly this. I exclusively used reddit on mobile through Boost, so without it it’s like I’m on a different platform.
I run it every time I power on my laptop. Just can’t help it.
You could always use it with an android emulator.
That was added to my post when I replied lol. Must’ve been a glitch 🤷♂️.
I feel like lemmings is already catching on.
Doesn’t need to be hosted on the server. Just need the client’s to support smooth embedding from other video hosts like peertube.
The first one wasn’t really that bad, but the second 🤤
undefined> PeerTube
This is honestly a good idea.
A lot of lag, but with the influx of users, I don’t blame them.

I’ll still be able to scroll on boost at work! Hurray!
This will actually make lemmy usable on mobile for me! I’ve been using boost for years, and I really can’t wait.

Using an app is just a more mobile friendly experience. Also, you get the option of choosing an app with a layout that is most appealing to you. For example I’ve been using WefWef for now, but I’m waiting for Boost for Lemmy to come out since it’s an interface I’m familiar with.
