While the writing was on the wall that creativity was leaving the AAA space, PlayStation was still the AAA darling which didn’t really mess up.

The real question is if you’ll be able to purchase one of the 17 they’ve produced or if you’ll have to wait for their limited edition translucent version in a year.
Getting an N64 + a RetroTink to upscale costs the same or more than this Analogue product (depends a lot on the N64 and RetroTink you buy). This is actually a fairly good value. I’m shocked Analogue priced it where it is considering that the Pocket is FOMO-sold and pricey.
In this vein, Fastmail and Kagi Search as well.
Those EXT4-fs write access unavailable errors look spooky. Should probably do some standard Linux FS testing (fsck)
I’ve not had to recover anything from a raspberry pi SD card, but in the case you start from scratch - and considering it’s upset at write access - you may be able to plug it into another machine and at least salvage bits of its configuration that way.
If anyone has the git repo downloaded, they have a copy of it (from when they last pulled)
I think Pretendo is 3DS. For DS it’d likely be Wiimmfi.
Yeah, GameFreak figured out the casino stuff wasn’t a good idea in gen 4 (HeartGold/SoulSilver) and replaced slots with Voltorb Flip outside of Japan, and otherwise closed the game corner in subsequent titles. In Pokémon: Let’s Go (Gen7) the player receives Porygon from a random person instead of needing to grind coins in the casino. Would be interesting to see if they could/would hack in that change.
Another MAGA shooter or just Florida Man?
Destroying filthy xenos in Space Marine II with my battle-brother in online campaign co-op.
What a treat. Also Pokémon Platinum.
I have yet to purchase these devices but Malyshenko seems to really care about giving modern audio output to ESP devices and seems very well documented. I’ll probably be picking one or two up in the near future.
I mean, look how fast the ENTIRE industry shifted to battle passes (and still gacha) and away from “loot boxes” the very moment the first country said they’d consider regulation.
We certainly can. NVIDIA’s CEO realizes that the next buzzword that sells their cards (8K, 240hz, RTX++) isn’t going to run at good framerates without it.
That’s not to say AI doesn’t have its place in graphics, but it’s definitely a crutch for extremely high-end rendering performance (see RT) and a nice performance and quality gain for weaker (hopefully cheaper) graphics cards which support it.
As a gamer and developer I sort of fear AI taking the charm away from rendered games as DLSS/FSR embeds itself in games. I don’t want to see a race to the bottom in terms of internal, pre-DLSS resolution.
Bring back /r/place
All of them are great but I really have to call out Halo: Reach as being an absolute narrative masterpiece.
CONGRATS!
My roommate has been shiny hunting VC Crystal Celebi off and on for about 3 years. Like 4 ish months ago I made a save on my 3DS and started doing soft resets. My app isn’t letting me upload the picture as proof at this time but we recently found it on my 3DS. We were watching TV and I wondered what it sounded like so I watched a video of someone finding a celebi. About 5 minutes later I actually got it and my roommate looked over like “wait did you watch the video again?” and then realized.
We don’t have official numbers on odds, but our estimate was that they had at least a couple thousand resets. I probably did a thousand or so on my machine. We guess we’re under odds by a good margin. Still insane to me. I sort of had to go sit down. I’d had a few 1/4096 odds in Violet while doing other hunts but never a 1/8192 in an older gen game. Might be the rarest shiny I’ll ever get.
If you can somehow get the save file over to your PC, you can use PKHeX to edit your save file. (Make a backup!) Making a machoke a machamp should be as easy as selecting your machoke, right click it, View it, change the species from machoke to machamp, and then right click your machoke and set it. Then save and replace the save with the new one.
I would keep Aron for the eventual aggron
Now to deal with your water problems. Wingull is flying/water, lombre is grass/water, mudkip is water/ground.
Mudkip / Swampert is a great pokemon and you should keep it. I’d replace Lombre with Breloom or Roselia, brings your grass/water to grass/fighting. Breloom’s mach punch is SWEET.
So to your flyer, the problem with Pelipper is that its Attack stat is pretty awful and ALL flying-type moves in Gen 3 are considered physical. (Water are considered special, which is Pelipper’s second-best stat). So keeping Pelipper to primarily use for flying-type moves is going to be rough. Swellow is a great default, and other flyers (Altaria, Tropius) are available later but are either rough to level or not worth it.
They are both north of Mauville.
My group is roughly about to head to space for the first time or launch our first rocket so that’s exciting
