Inaccurate. The US head should clearly be in charge, larger, more important, more powerful and imposing than its vassal states France, Germany, Britain, Japan (and the other two, Israel and?). As it is, it’s a vampire on them, they are not equal.

How about do this but around Niger because the west is not far from invading them and if they manage to resist their ECOWAS pawns I suspect a freedoming from some western nation is coming. Doubt the US will want to launch a full scale invasion but they have troops there who refuse to leave and an assault on the leadership using special forces, drones, gunships? Seems plausible.
Yes actually. Russia and China are both nuclear powers and the US is arrogant but not completely ignorant of reality. They wouldn’t dare use nuclear weapons on either. They don’t even dare Russia to use theirs by getting directly involved in Ukraine with open NATO battalions as they would if Russia didn’t have nukes. They’re not going to commit suicide by using a nuclear weapon in anger over a transit or minor territorial violation.
I mean, the guys he idolizes (Bandera) were doing the same thing. Nazis would have liquidated them if they’d won against the Soviets once they outlived their usefulness.

But our case won’t be helped by harassing them and the issue is not one big site defederating from us, it’s if we allow a handful of users to throw a shit-fit and harass them over it which they’ll spread around as agit-prop against us to other instances to encourage them to defederate at which point we truly will be alone.
Maybe some people are fine with that but I can live with not posting on liberal instances, not dunking on their users and letting them have their political discussions without interjection if it means more instances I can generally interact with under one account. I don’t think any of us here seriously think the situation will be improved by giving them cause. They’d still come here anyways goodness knows to interject their opinions so it’s not like withholding posting on their platform and following their rules prevents you from being able to interact with liberals.
Just my opinion. Rather not get us locked out of the fediverse at the start by giving them any excuses. Yes they’ll probably do it anyways as they’ll manufacture or find one (just as reddit admins were fond of inventing new reasoning and rules to fit the occasion of needing to get rid of troublemakers) but let’s try and force them to reach for a reason, not hand them one.

I’m really curious how you get millions of people to believe in something that didn’t happen at all.
Why? Any liberal or reactionary can easily imagine millions of people believing in falsities by virtue of the fact that opposites on the liberal political spectrum exist.
I mean come on. Sit down and think a little. Humans have been led to believe all kinds of things that are false and many still do. Mythologies weren’t stories everyone was in on, they were once accepted truths in many cases.
How could millions of Americans believe Iraq had chemical weapons when it didn’t? How could millions of Americans believe JFK was killed by a lone gunman with no meaningful connections?
I mean this is just simple propaganda and mass communication. Look how many people are seething over the Barenstein bears and convinced reality was changed Matrix style because they remember it being spelled differently and other Mandela effect stuff (named itself after the fact a ton of people for some reason believe they heard in the news that Nelson Mandela died in prison, how can they all think that when it’s false).
Americans will readily accept North Korea is a nation of brainwashed drones or Russians are subhumans eagerly doing human wave tactics yet the moment they’re asked to consider the contrary, the inverse might be the case their brains malfunction, they can’t think straight, they can’t conceive of it, it’s unreasonable.
Free your mind. Expand the possibilities. Accept the empire pushes projection of its own atrocities both past and craved in the present onto enemies.
Yes. All bloodsuckers should be removed from this plane of existence. It is the luxury of the western academic to make noises and murmur in displeasure masturbatory philosophical thought experiments against it while it is the realm of the poor and animals with far more feeling and ability to experience pain and suffering to experience the actual reality. Not to say it will be easy. It’ll be one of the most challenging things humans ever do. It will likely require unified (or at least cooperative) communist party rule over at least 90% of the planet, large amounts of funding, and a complex plan.
Though things like ChatGPT are largely a scam I believe we are just socialist leadership away from something incredible in terms of artificial intelligence (combined with quantum computing). A lot of problems can kind of just be brute forced by just doing a lot of math, simulations, etc. Once you truly understand biology at its most basic levels plus its interactions you can simulate and create molecules, compounds, etc that interact with that biology with a goal in mind. Humans could never do this in any reasonable time-frame, but a super-massive quantum computing complex could do many things from creating drugs to treat diseases and cancers to improving industrial processes, to yes, synthesizing things to effect the removal of certain organisms.
Best of all this plan is far more plausible and feasible than nonsense like moving away from them or somehow geo-engineering earth completely out of climate change into a very cold climate that somehow still supports crops, animal and plant life, etc.
Annoying people who I don’t care for say things like they fill certain niches outside of bloodsucking and to that I say, evolution will re-fill those niches once they are gone. Things go extinct from time to time, others prosper, if there are minor consequences then we shall take charge of and accept them. It is purely delusional thinking on the part of liberal minded types who believe in some butterfly effect destabilizing our entire biosphere as a result of a change like this. Fact is our planet and the biosphere we know including organisms we’re familiar with has undergone a lot of challenges and changes including extinctions caused by humans as well as population decreases, increases, climate shifts, displacement of habitats by human industry, civilization, habitats, and lots and lots of pollution. Not to mention natural things like droughts, diseases, minor climate shifts, introduction of species that out-compete others from other regions, etc. These people just hesitate to take the wheel. They seem to be very religious in thinking nature sacred and that man can only muck it up. They’re anti-humanists and should not be paid heed.
Spoiler: Other species will fill the niches of mosquitoes with time. Evolution is quite good at that. People acting like it will lead to ecological collapse are losers who should be bullied.
Mosquitos were devastated by DDT back in the day and on the back-foot with one foot in the grave. I’m unaware of any mass extinctions as a result.
The biologists may study the world, Marxists seek to change it. Not to remove all species or anything of the sort but to tweak things. We’ve already made too many changes and more are required for human survival. Russia moved into the area where the control center for the site is (the still crewed one) in the first month but there was fighting with the Ukrainians. They entered into an agreement to jointly run it with the Ukrainian troops and personnel present. Russia just mainly wants to avoid NATO/Ukraine Nazis staging a false flag there (blowing it up, spreading radiation, whatever) and blaming them.

Given this guy has apparently lied before and started up a whole drama about not getting ammo just to fool the west/Ukrainians into continuing to attack his positions and get destroyed I wouldn’t rule out this is an elaborate ruse to bait the Ukrainians into charging Russian positions thinking this is their best time. Basically an attempt to further weaken their forces and shorten the conflict by drawing out reserves.
That said, could be real too I guess but it seems more likely it’s trying to bait the Ukrainians as he’s done before.
Even many so-called leftist spaces casually use sexist langauge, memes, etc. It’s an infection that goes deeper than racism it feels and certainly people seem less aware of it than homophobia. I continue to hope male comrades speak out when they see it rather than being silent to avoid being seen as “being a nerd” when no-one would ever accuse someone of ruining the fun for calling out homophobia, racism, etc.
And like anti-imperialism I agree that feminism is non-negotiable. You are not my comrade or worthy of being called comrade of anyone if you don’t see me as human, if you see me as inferior, if you support my oppression or make excuses for it. I don’t give a fuck about the excuses or your weak attempts at logic and co-existing with it.
Luckily at least in this community we don’t have mods who uphold the backwards, disgusting, chauvinist idea that sexual exploitation and prostitution is good work instead of abuse and something to be abolished. Though as always there is room for improvement and I am pretty often reminded this is a male dominated space.
12·1 year agoI believe we will move towards a sort of “crowdsourced” theory where the main theoretical line is born organically out of continuos communication and discussion until we eventually get to a point where most contradictions and disagreements are solved.
Not if the CIA or FBI have anything to say about it. Hell not if Maoists and Trots still exist. Hell not if grifters still exist and wield enormous influence that trickles into and infects even those who condemn them on the whole.
This feels kind of like thinking along anarchist lines. That if we only allow everyone to do their thing, people will just arrive at the right conclusions. Even if all institutions sabotaging Marxism magically vanished tomorrow and everyone forgot they existed and their methods, there would still be problems with this. With them existing and those who benefit from them and replicate their suppression and division, this is a pipedream. There’s a reason parties adopt a party line, and that’s because you’ll never get 100% agreement. The point of that of course being, disagree behind closed doors, discuss, debate, but then present a united front once dem-cent process is done whether you lose or win. However you’ll always have haters, power-mongers, fed-plants, and people high on their own fumes.
We need a party, a real movement and leadership within that movement to begin to write down any worthwhile theory in the west. Moreover that movement has to have some sort of success beyond just being mildly popular as CPUSA was in the 30s. Theory without practical, proven application is just spitballing hypotheticals into the void and not necessarily worth a lot.
Also I’ll offer a lot of the western left is infected, deeply with idealism, western nonsense thinking, etc. I think the worthwhile theory of our era is going to come out of China and be translated. At least until the west begins to crumble and a real movement that begins notching successes forms in the west. Until that point it’s largely naval-gazing. The one thing we can try and do right now is solidarity, solidarity, solidarity with other nations and peoples. Anti-imperialism is the one litmus test, wishing for the defeat of the west to which we must hold ourselves and all who would call themselves Marxists who are not in fact vulgar perverters of that term. Ukraine has been helpful in this, weeding out those still clinging to the propaganda of empire and the bourgeoisie who benefit from it.
And I’m back to crow. Biden just called Xi a dictator (because of course) and it hasn’t even been a week yet. This is not the act of a contrite nation or one truly desperate to make amends.
I think it’s just time-wasting. The US has to posture and pretend it’s this noble, gentle giant that loves peace and doesn’t want war with China and China has to pretend that the US isn’t abusing the hell out of them and hasn’t been for years and act like some minor concessions can be the start of real repairs from such a dishonest, scheming, backstabbing nation.
In other words just shows it was a waste of time. China should try spending a year not meeting with the US rather than dignify this nonsense with a response. They haven’t even taken China’s minister of defense off their sanctions list and still want meetings with him.

The mouths of the west are liars, even their deeds are deceptive. Every major war the US has gotten into has been through subterfuge, false flags, crafted narrative lies. From the revolution and the lie about the peaceful protestors being massacred and the following tea party to Remember the Maine, to Gulf of Tonkin to Iraq WMD’s, to I believe even Pearl Harbor which I think the US knew about ahead of time and allowed to go ahead to enrage the people and steel them behind their government for the war ahead.
They don’t know anything but arrogance. This is but a clever ploy to lull their enemies into a false sense of security while they pivot and undertake other moves and measures.
Remember Russia insisting that their troop build-up was just an exercise right before the invasion? It’s because surprise is helpful. The US isn’t and never was going to outright say “we intend to pivot to and stoke a crisis in Taiwan to force a military confrontation with China and further justify militarization in the region plus partial decoupling”. That would just give Beijing a heads up and opportunity to plan better. Better to deceive them and the west practices and lives deception and has for centuries.
They’re pretending to lick their wounds. Pretending they’ve given up on Ukraine but the moment Russia pulls back and they sense a chance (and aren’t otherwise too overly committed or distracted) they’ll be back trying to get it into NATO. In the meanwhile expect color revolutions and pushes to get other countries surrounding Russia into NATO, more trouble in Georgia and various other CIS states for instance to divide, distract, and weaken Russia.
Oh they know they’ve lost any hopes of decisive victory in this round but they’re not retreating from the region so much as carefully studying the chessboard and looking for better moves.
As to the US updating State Dept stuff to include not supporting independence. This is less than meaningless. A piece of scrap paper found in a gutter is worth more than this written on it from the US. They would happily say this, then arm them, push troops in and start a fight with China while screaming at the top of their lungs that the people of Taiwan have chosen democracy and the US will stand with them forever. And liberals, leaders, academics, politicians, business leaders, normie citizens who watch the bourgeois propaganda news will all see no contradiction here, will support this. No one but Marxist-Leninists will be around to point out the sudden shift and no one will care when we do. It’ll be a smug gotcha from our back-seats watching helplessly that liberals will not acknowledge then and will not acknowledge 15 years after it goes down and settles (maybe some liberal academics will point it out in history books but put it down to guileful and clever strategy on the part of the US rather than backstabbing dishonesty).
Let’s see US pull trainers out of Taiwan, let’s see US stop arms deals to Taiwan. Let’s see some actual actions not just cheap talk. Let’s see them drop the China containment via attempting to bring NATO into the Pacific and rallying occupied Korea and Japan around building up their military, stationing advanced American weapons/nukes there, etc.
Without actually dialing back the ramped up aggression they’ve already committed to these words are just a lie, a ruse to try and deceive China into lowering their guard. May they be smart enough to not trust it one bit. They must press forward with building more nukes, with modernizing their military, more ships. They must be ready for it when it comes.

Even the piracy one which went out of their way to state they’re against blocking other instances unless they cross way over the line blocked us almost right away despite the fact we have “relevant communities” which they said was a good condition for keeping federation (we literally have a left-piracy community here and many of the people on /c/movies openly talk about their alternatives to streaming).
The liberals decry us for “hate speech” though they can’t ever say what of. And of course simply the thought-terminating screech of “tankies” which instantly shuts down any further discourse. The anarchists and other CIA-compatible left who make up the only other major left instances of course despise us.
Hilarious to see at least two instances with rules that state all ideologies are allowed oh but not tankies. Implying of course fascists are welcome but not us. Not surprising.
We may well end up far more isolated than we ever were on reddit, silently blocked by nearly every major instance, no capitalist algorithms mindlessly shoving us in the faces of liberals for rage engagement, just all of us here siloed away. The flip side is we won’t have liberals invading us but the downside is even less exposure than before and people will have to create a separate account if they want to interact with literally any other sizeable lemmy instance because they all block us. Which means less chance to spread our ideas. It’s a real dual edged sword. Reddit itself had its problems but it did develop in the later years tools which meant:
- We were mindlessly shoved into liberal feeds thus gaining exposure.
- Single account could be used so we could post factual rebukes to imperialist propaganda on /r/news or whatever and people who liked it could click the profile, see you post in /r/genzedong and start hanging out there and realize we have some good points.
- Actual decent tools to prevent brigading, shut down or shadowban sockpuppets of accounts banned from a sub, etc which meant though mods had to do banning people couldn’t just roll a new account. So we could reach out but reddit’s tools also protected us.
Of course since Ukraine all the major subs have been under lock and key and posting anything anti-imperialist is a quick trip to ban-town after many downvotes so perhaps the ideal has been gone for a year now anyways.
The US may be going to straight up bloody alter sacrifice Europe to weaken China/Russia/multi-polarity and the European liberals are going to take it with cheers.
They’ll later wonder why all the jobs are gone, products and goods gone, inflation out of control, economy in free-fall but I suspect as usual they’ll be channeled to blame it on some minority group. Hell I wouldn’t put it beyond the US to try and goad Europe into a state where it “independently chooses” to enter war against Russia directly. If it gets nuked it’s not the US problem, particularly if it’s the periphery of it full of their most loyal deranged types (eastern Europe).
Very worrying to know the industrial capitalists are at the controls of the military, the national-security-state, etc. While the financial capitalists like Bill Gates, Jamie Diamond, who understand China can profit them and are acting rationally in their own short-term interests in being friendly to it (though betraying their class long-term) don’t have power or aren’t making moves we can see to stop this slowly turning death and war machine as it gears up for a disaster.

Maoists have never had a successful revolution and have never really won lasting gains for the working class.
Now when I say Maoists as in Maoist Ultras I am talking about Gonzalo thought or MLM (Marxism-Leninism-Maoism) as they call themselves usually. I am not talking about ML-MZT or Marxist-Leninist with Mao-Zedong-Thought.
Mao adapted ML thought to China’s unique conditions and succeeded. The communist party he helped found (CPC) is now the leading socialist nation and the largest in pure numbers of membership as well as the one of the only ones actively advancing theory (Cuba is also doing some things but smaller given their circumstances). MLM’s condemn modern China for not being pure enough. They are a left deviation, the same kind Mao wrote against and condemned at various points. On the other hand they celebrate, venerate and support a deranged man (Gonzalo) who died in prison without leading a successful revolution or doing anything but founding a group of theoretically unsound guerillas who turned to adventurism and violence over substance.
Too many of these MLM’s seek glory and adventure instead of service. Of course those in the west would scream and run away at the prospect of having to commit violence themselves but through their purity fetishism they get to condemn all existing communist movements and all capitalists states and put themselves above it all as some imaginary, idealist, superior system. In that way they serve capital and empire. These people have a martyr complex and a martyr worship complex. It is in that way not surprising how attractive they are in the soup of western Christian civilization and thought, such ideas being promulgated as very honorable, attractive, etc in keeping with such philosophies.
To liberals? Maybe.
