It’s only grown since then, but even back then they were able to predict things like what you were likely to buy next or where you were in a hormonal cycle

Specifically in that it opens non-compliant States to legal action from other States that have economic partnerships with them

cryptTurtle@piefed.socialto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When you make toast with peanut butter do you butter the toast first?English3·10 days agoBlackberries are supposed to have natural pectin in them. You could be straining them too much and removing the natural pectin from the juice. Idk worth experimenting with I’d say
We do add butter to ours to help reduce the amount of foaming during the boiling process. So that might have something to do with it too

cryptTurtle@piefed.socialto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When you make toast with peanut butter do you butter the toast first?English3·11 days agoI butter the pan when I toast my bread. After that I normally just use whatever topping of the day (peanut butter, jam, etc). I’ve found that pan toasting is really the only way to get your toast perfect. Toaster ovens just end up wasting counter space you could otherwise use for something you can’t achieve with a pan

cryptTurtle@piefed.socialto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Lemmy is a tech literate echo chamberEnglish34·16 days agoSo a friend of mine went to a convention to show off his gaming project. The kids there were trying to touch the monitors to play the game. They didn’t grab the keyboard and mouse. They didn’t touch the controller. They touched the monitor. People’s framework of what a computer is and what it’s made of is completely different than what it use to be
I would expect that to either happen in a lightweight automated fashion and/or only be done manually when something is actively being investigated due to reporting
