@Wooly I pay for the bags, but only once.
Rescuing princesses since tea-time, if I can work out which button to press. #retrogaming #retrocomputing

@dpunked I’ve not played it, but I think it’ll be this one: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/71/civilization
@Barbarian @dpunked I believe Civilization actually started as a boardgame, so that’s more a boardgame to videogame conversion.
@floppy @Twig Oh, this is incredible. Playing now on a real Plus/4. #commodoreplus4 #lemmings
@Emperor I’d like to add:
Martin Lewis @MartinLewis (hasn’t posted for ages)
Helen Czerski @helenczerski (posts frequently, please follow 🙂)
@133arc585 @brand I found that when I imported I had to manually add lots of missing books and then import again. I think the import might have improved since then - adding books definitely has, as it usually finds them to import now (when I joined it was a purely manual process)
@losttourist I don’t think you can - just posts. That favourites view shows all posts you’ve favourited (upvoted). It’s a good way of bookmarking until we get actual bookmarking.
@Rainbright @bookstodon @Remillard Bookwyrm works fantastically as a GoodReads alternative! It just doesn’t federate quite as well as it could (across different platforms), but that’s no big deal. I can read, follow, etc from Mastodon no problem, Takahē misses some posts, and I’ve not tried from kbin yet (the instance I’m on is having federation issues).
@Remillard @bookstodon @Rainbright Hashtags on #Bookwyrm don’t seem to work properly, unless that has been fixed. In theory though it ought to work as you say. Default hashtags for certain Bookwyrm events might be good too. I’ve not posted to Bookwyrm since following my account from kbin, so not sure how it works there.
@carturo222 @Knoll0114 There’s a feature request to sync data between Bookwyrm and Goodreads - https://github.com/bookwyrm-social/bookwyrm/issues/2859
Yes, that was kind of the point.
(The @ ing is because I’m replying from Mastodon, it does that by default)
