It wasn’t because of Sync. The increase happened before Sync for Lemmy was even available. Notice how it jumped up and then didn’t rise again? Probably a dodgy instance federated.

Sad. The parents would have known how risky this is, very irresponsible to try get through like that. They may have been fleeing unrest in Honduras, but there are multiple countries before the US they could have tried to seek refuge in. Choosing the US makes them economic migrants at that point.

I just started trying out Sync today and I gotta admit, it is way better than the Lemmy apps I’ve tried or the website. It just feels more… Professional? And intuitive, easy to usev with more functionality quickly available.

I have problems with all the FOSS apps I tried. Something about the UI/UX is just… off.

I’m trying Sync now and I like it, not sure about the pricing though. The ads don’t seem to be working yet, I’ll see how it goes when they show up.

You are correct, people here are just as braindead as reddit. They have that superiority complex going on too, it’s pretty funny.

I find this really hard to believe. I like going in to work, but I don’t work in a standard office (engineer on industrial site). If I were to be working in an office all day though, no way would I prefer that to home.
