Well, walking on it seems to have mitigated some of the discomfort actually. I’ll try to keep that to a minimum, but I’m pretty sure it’s basically fine.

Update: discomfort continues, swelling continues, no real pain. Still on the fence about going to the doctor. On one hand, staying here would involve doing some more walking in about 2 hours, on the other hand, I’d have to wake up both my boss and my ride in the middle of the night if I clock out and go to the doctor now.

So I slipped off a stair at work and rolled my ankle. Loud pop sound, solid 6/10 pain, felt nauseous for a couple minutes. Everything swelled up pretty bad, ice brought it down to like a level above barely noticeable swelling, but it kept ebbing to like 7/10 pain. Without ice for about 15 mins now it sits at like 1/10 pain, like barely pain at all, more like noticeable discomfort.

Walking on it feels sturdy / solid, definitely no broken bones or anything. But actually putting all my weight on it hurts.

In short, am I gonna die?

In the UK our “right wing” government is arguably* closer to your democrats than republicans.

Just so you know, republicans and democrats and tories are all far more similar to each other than they are to the political views of even a moderate hexbear user.

We’ve got widely varied opinions on the best ways to dunk on people though. We tend to just bring them all and see what happens
