It’s a weird card in that the ShopYourWay program is originally the points program for Sears and KMart. However, the points can be redeemed for gift cards on Raise at $.01/each. So at 3% back on dining & groceries and 5% back on gas combined with constant bonus offers, I’m averaging like 8% back each purchase. It doesn’t come with any travel perks, but as long as points can be redeemed on Raise it’s an amazing cash back card for my needs.

Since you mentioned credit card rewards, I received another promotion for the Shop Your Way credit card (spend $750 and get $50 back for online purchases). I thought people were kidding about how often it gives cash back promotions, but I’ve had the card since November and have already gotten $485 back in just promotion dollars. Add in the Raise discount and it has been by far the most rewarding cash back card I’m aware of.

I tried it for a week and at least in my city it was pretty much unusable. Service is prioritized below T-Mobile proper, so it can be super slow if your area has a lot of T-Mobile users.

I think this is my favorite part. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fuel pump that accepts coins.

This bill approved Wednesday would also eliminate from state law language referring to coin-operated fuel pumps, perhaps in recognition of the fact that a $1 coin, the largest denomination in general circulation, would today buy two-tenths of a gallon of gas, and it would take more than 50 of them to fill an average tank.

I think my father-in-law largely fell into that first category. However, since having our twins, he’s probably changed more diapers in the last year and a half than with his own three kids combined. He’s all in now, so I don’t know if it’s just because times have changed or if its out of guilt, but it’d be interesting to see some data on other grandparents and their involvement.

My state only does paper ballots and voting by mail. I completely agree that voting machines are completely unnecessary.

My wife didn’t really care until we started The Mandalorian. Grogu is what got her hooked.
