Seriously, who came up with this shit 😭

Nationalizing musk’s assets really would be a broken clock moment for them imo
Well… at least for when the government stops being fascist, that is
MYTH: Some people with autism may never work.
FACT: That’s awesome, good for them.
This one got me good
So much for “capitalism better because material wealth communism one toothbrush” etc etc…
Funny how things turned out
The solution is to work towards forming and building up antifascist guerilla resistance blocks, so that when shit really starts getting too real for people, resistance groups are there ready to go
Yes, it of course would have been better to do it all earlier, but as you said…
It’s super frustrating, for sure. You can plainly see what’s gonna happen, and yet most people are too clueless to support it
Why would that be a sign of wikipedia’s decline?
Should they not document a famous figure? It doesn’t matter whether it’s ridiculous or not, value judgement is not an encyclopedia’s place to do
And this is not a joke either. It’s literally every box for the antichrist
It’s actually really uncanny just how much he fits the bill, and doubly so regarding how many christians follow and support him
Interestingly enough though, the directors of the matrix are two trans women
But while yes, queerphobia was worse in some ways, it was also not as bad in others. For example, trans people didn’t have the massive organized targeted attack back then. In many ways, things have gotten worse in this aspect too
Quantum computers are not going to be used for AI. They are not a mystical technology that is going to make everything better, and you will certainly never have a quantum computer in the palm of your hand
AGI on classical computers is likely to be viable, but in a roundabout way you’re right, we’re probably going to end up with radically different computers, probably ones that mimic physical brain structure for maximum AI effectiveness. That’s at least a few decades out though, but would likely be viable in our lifetime
And I ask again, has that call to voting and high-roading strategy worked so far? All I see is a fascist US that will now inevitably end in bloodshed. People already disengaged without the opposition “stooping down to extremist levels”. I’d even argue that that sort of weak opposition is exactly why people disengaged in the first place
Not to mention, the US is beyond that stage now. Fascism has arrived there, and it has entrenched itself. It will not leave peacefully, just like it didn’t historically. No matter what, it’s time for new strategies
They do it themselves and already accuse everyone else of sharing fake stuff. Has the moral high ground really worked so far?
All I see is that lies and appeal to emotion is what has given them real power. So when it comes to ridiculing the trump administration, I say fuck it, the alternative hasn’t worked so far. It’s only gotten worse
The thing with biofuels is that they could be used to feed people instead
Fascism never lasts. It’s a self-destructive ideology that will start eating itself more and more over time. They will never win
The big issue of course, is about all the damage that’s going to be done in the meantime. That’s what I hope won’t be too extreme
But if history is still a thing in the future, you can be certain that this moment in time will be judged very harshly
Like how much have the right yelled about elections being rigged and unfair and corrupt and so on? They’re obviously setting up the rhetoric to take control and ‘fix’ the ‘problem’, because ‘obviously’ everyone supports trump (or else…)
What do you mean ruined?
I will never be able to look at chickens the same
But like, it doesn’t really matter, all that matters is that they will try and try to enforce it
What happened in the countries where they tried to stamp out insurgency? They ended up in rubble for the most part. That’s the scary part
And also, humans fit the bill too
We’re straight up commiting ecocide as a species, but we’re also still silly little guys
The US is the biggest military in the world
Which country could do it better if not the US?
Actually, you’re right, I didn’t even think about it
If I wrote “I love to read, I read an interesting book every day”, then the way you say the latter ‘read’ shifts from my original example, and it depends on context that comes later in the sentence
