Until I have good reason to believe that my vote stands a good chance of actually mattering should I do such a thing, no. There’s no way of knowing the result beforehand, so I’d rather play it safer and spend it on trying to prevent the worst possible outcome. Might not always work, but then again it might.

A truly progressive third party that also actually has a prayer of winning. They would need a groundswell of individual small donors making up much of their campaign funding because mainstream ain’t gonna fund them, so good luck with that.

Can’t answer for anybody else, but from what admittedly limited information I’m aware of there are many reasons I’d not want to move to India - Modi, pollution so bad in places you can hardly see through it at times, rampant huliganism hooliganism, sexism, mobs severely beating/killing people (most not even nearly for “justifiable” causes), high unemployment, castes, people still openly using public streets for restrooms, etc. Doesn’t seem like it’s any better than the Ununited States of America.

If you’re in the US, you’re already there - just give it some time for that truth to take its inevitable hold.

I don’t pay him enough attention to know, but I did say that I didn’t have much against him. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a far worse person than I care to know, all things considered. Unfortunately, there’s WAY too many of them to keep track of nowadays - my brain’s already past capacity at this point.
