Standard muscle car driver. Those things are meant to go fast in a straight line, no turns. They’re getting better, but a lot of those things might still be made with leaf springs - you know, those big metal primitive suspension bars they used for horse and carriage. Even fucking trains use independent coilovers now.

Also, remake muscle cars to live out your retirement years in comfort.

  • Because it’s an afterthought. Imagine going to see a painting, but then the venue owner coming up and being like "my favorite color is blue, so all the red is going to get repainted over as blue.

The production wanted and worked and casted and directed and mixed and timed and animated all of the audio and people and visual together., and some asshole comes along and is just like “fuck all of this, people don’t want that, replace it with my buddies on staff that are cheap. We’ve been doing it for years, the dummies won’t notice”.

And to address the subject of why subtitling is different from that, it’s not entirely so. Subtitling is just less destructive.

Sometimes people don’t know any better and have been brainwashed. Sometimes they aren’t murderous imperial trash.

But, goons make the agenda go 'round, and goons are the worst.

It’s complicated. I see both perspectives here. And it really is a case of we are all victims of our own evil culture. I used to defend the soldier whilst condemn the capitalist imperialism. But, as I grow wiser, that doesn’t quite resolve the reality of it all. We need to fix public education. And, getting rid of DEI is an actual disaster.

7pm if you take an hour lunch, 6pm if you don’t take a lunch.

I’ve worked a 10-7 shift before. Some people hated it, but I actually loved it. I got to stay up every night to a reasonable 12-1, okay videogames with friends, slept until a nice morning, woke up and drove to work. It was by far the best work shift time I’ve ever had. It also helped that I lived 3 minutes away, so I would literally wake up at like 9, sss, then drive to work. Saved so much gas at that job hahaha. I’d fill up my Corolla like once a month as long as I didn’t visit friends too much. And I was in an apartment with underground parking, so the uv damage to my car was like nothing.

The only downside is you don’t get to do errands during the week. Which… If you plan very very well isn’t an issue, but more often than not was an issue.

  • Not optimistic. I know it’s a big jump in numbers from what conservative legacy media put out, but bear with me.

American politics are a spectacle because of stuff like this. Eventually, a really good portion of the internet connected population of the world is going to hear about this and are going to be curious. Like maybe 10-50%. And if Trump actually sues for a cartoon saying he has a tiny penis but airing a real life AI video of him naked in the desert and “showing” it, that number is going to go up and possibly break out of online media.

6 million people watched it upon initial airing on cable on that timeslot. The population of the usa is like 340 million. If you halve that for age and demographics, that’s still like 170 million people in the usa alone.

Now, I’d be willing to bet that in the usa, the number who have already seen the clip is closer to 170M than it is 6M, and is only going higher. Start including Canada, Mexico, parts of Europe, Japan, NZ, and anybody else that remotely pays attention to the most ridiculous parts of US politics, and the pool of possible people has grown far beyond the 340M population of the USA and that initial 6M estimate put out by legacy media, who undoubtedly and demonstrably has a conflict of interest and is conservative owned.

The only real way to remotely know would be to start doing surveys, but that would absolutely affect the number. “Do you know about the South Park episode clip where they say he has a teeny tiny penis and aired a clip using AI that showed him wandering through the desert naked and even showed his penis and that now Donald Trump wants to sue them for defamation?” 😂😂😂😂

If they didn’t know, imagine their reaction and immediate curiosity. It’s ridiculous.

Anyway, I do think that eventually, especially if Trump actually sues them, that the exposure numbers, either through watching the clip or meme form, could get over a billion. Because remember, the population of the world right now is like 8 to 8.2Billion people, and a good portion of that is internet connected. You can extrapolate from there.

Optimistic would be “everyone internet connected will hear about this”. And while maybe that would be eventually possible if no scandals ever again happen and everybody suddenly had no other problems and cared about us politics, but that just can’t be the case and isn’t reality. But it’s also extreme to underestimate how fast these things move and how easily people see and show each other them and search them out. The MSNBC YouTube video covering it alone already has like 4 million views.
