It’s a bit more general, but I always really liked r/WeAreTheMusicMakers. Sub for people who were creating music to talk about methods, techniques, and just different parts of the lifestyle in general. Also people could share their music, which does have the chance of being low quality spam but if you contain it to like a weekly megathread It’s manageable.
Insiders typically don’t lose money even if a company tanks after ipo. The ipo is a set price and it’s pretty common for insiders/other shareholders to dump their bags at that price while people biying at the ipo get fucked.
Any slow cooker recipe can and should be made in an instant pot instead, imo. People mostly used slow cookers for the convenience of throwing a bunch of ingredients together and setting and forgetting. Instant pots do the same thing however cook way faster so you don’t have to do it in the morning and imo it tastes better. Meats stay juicier and it only takes like 25-45 min instead of 4-8 hours.
One I make all the time is you just throw in a jar of salsa verde, quart of chicken stock, big package of chicken thighs, can of your favorite beans, frozen corn and some cumin/garlic powder/chili powder/bay leaves and boom you made green chicken chili. Serve with pepper jack cheese.
The reason it seems like that is because this kbin instance (kbin.social) isn’t federated right now because of heavy traffic. So you’ll only see magazines that were created here. As soon as the restrictions are relaxed you’ll see other instances in the default feed. Or you could sign up for a different kbin instance like fedia.io which are currently still federated.
Even so, the other instances that are working as intended don’t quite have that r/all feel yet just because there aren’t nearly the same number of users in all of the fediverse as there were on reddit. It’ll take time for the content to catch up.
What is the deal with defederating from that nsfw instance? I like having a feed that will occasionally have random nudes or whatnot in it, like r/all used to have. Is defederation the reason I don’t see any of the lemmynsfw.com stuff even though I’m subbed to it?
