Just cancelled mine. I have barely been doing ~2 games per year, and the cost was low enough for me to not really care about the months I didn’t play at all.
But a price increase is the straw.

Magic: The Gathering - Arena, but in a different sense. I have played it a decent amount ever since I moved away from the city and have been unable to play with people over the table. I learned that it wasn’t really the game itself which made me interested in Magic, but the interactions with people.
I have since quit the game and haven’t really paid attention to its direction since.
KSP definitely. I was literally doing astrophysics at uni when I started playing. It got me a much better sense for orbital mechanics and trajectories than any class ever did.
The previous billions of years of void was a grandiose buildup to the world’s largest nothing-burger, followed by an eternity of void again.
Slay the Spire: it’s the same game as on PC or any other medium. Fantastic game. Obviously costs the same as other places (about $10), but well worth it!
Pokemon TCG Pocket. I started early with this, so I have had no problem with being F2P, but I’m sure that late adopters would need to pay some amount to become competitive. Still should be playable F2P, though. Anyways, it’s amazingly unintrusive when it comes to real money transactions. No interrupting ads and you basically have to search for the in-game shop to find the microtransactions.
Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic. This one might have changed since I got it ~8 years ago. It’s a pretty good mobile version of the original game. I’ve spent a lot of time with this game.
D looks nice. Greek food, Turkish food, fuck Israel, Indian food, Japanese food, Thai food and whatever crocodile burger Australia serves.
It’s advice for how most people end up in vim in the first place. git commit

Thank you so much for trying!
It’s not La Bamba, sadly. Thank you so much for trying!
I edited in a link to my recording, if you want to give it a listen.
The second image is very close to what I remember. In fact, it’s so close that I am worried this is a false clue and that my mind is just mixing up images. I didn’t recognize the song, though.
Here is a quick and dirty attempt. I ended on a single note, but that’s where it’s supposed to repeat.
I don’t think the notes are perfect, and something seems somewhat off, but it should give an idea.
I will try this tomorrow (european time). Thanks for the tip!
Absolutely, tabs are not great for describing rhythm. Thank you so much for trying!
I will record a sample of it from my guitar tomorrow (european time).
For what it’s worth, the battle mechanics of pokemon scarlet and violet is as follows:
You can throw your pokeball to an empty spot to have your pokemon walk along with you. It will then automatically fight other wild pokemon in the overworld through extremely simple mechanics, which doesn’t require any actions from you. If you instead throw your pokeball directly at the wild pokemon, you end up in a normal, classical battle with that pokemon.
So it sounds like it’s specifically those mechanics that they are patenting, which has a significant overlap with Palworld.
It’s bullshit that this is a patent, and I know nothing of the system, but I find it completely idiotic if this will allow them to retroactively make legal claims against a game which was released before the patent was created.
I used to have a US citizenship. I have family in the states. But there is no way in hell that I’m travelling to the states while the border control are ordered to deny people access due to content on people’s phones.
If I’m excited about something, I am very selective of who I share my excitement with. The comments here verifies that choice.
The PR for Cracker Barrel is off the hooks as of lately. Previously I had no idea what Cracker Barrel was and I had never heard of it. But now… I still have no idea what it is, but I have heard of it.
Can I group the people into groups of 1, then 2, then 3 and so forth? When the trolley is done with the killing, it will have killed -1/12 people.
