Think it’s an echidna.
Played last night, highly recommend! Really great return to form here, reminiscent of tribes 2. Nothing quite like capping the flag carrier going mach 2 with a blue disk special 10 meters from their base. Except maybe a flag capture. Hoping the vehicles are implemented eventually, but I think this already has very solid bones.
I think your example is actually correct. Eating CAN be a noun, but in your example it is a present participle, a type of verb. It would be a noun if eating was the subject, ie: “eating is fun,” where it would be a gerund. https://teacherblog.ef.com/grammar-recap-intro-to-gerunds-and-infinitives/
Oh wow, thank you. I completely missed it. Appreciate the response! I’ll edit the post
Huh, wasn’t really expecting this to be spot on 😅cool tool!
This actually could be a cool concept. Multiple ways to get the next key item, but some are significantly faster. Like, you could have whatever key item you need shipped, but that would take a day. Or you could go to the retail store and buy whatever, but then you have to spend money, stand in line etc. Or you can just find it in the back alley. Then it’s just a timed challenge to find the best (or most fun) route, but you always have a way to progress.
Awesome piece. It gives strong vibes of a scene in “Your name”. For anyone browsing, the rest of the gallery is definitely worth a look as well!
Yep! Since it is a smaller community, it feels less like screaming into the void. There’s a good chance people will see a comment, even if it isn’t made in the first hour or so.
A person who chipped in $5 for a pizza party.
What a phenomenal response. Every single day makes me happy that I chose lemme.ee as my home instance. Truly appreciate all of the hard work you are pouring into this. And we can see how difficult it is based off of your total transparency. Thank you!
Lower case doesn’t count for roman numerals!
The fire broke me. I had been playing casually on my phone and had been coming back over the course of 12+ hours. All for nought 😩
Appalachian horror is such a good subgenre. The Old Gods of Appalachia podcast showed me there’s a lot of untapped potential. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDNou9zgeAqN4XRuE7wc7iMW7o8m7JjpS
Very vanilla here. Playing a 7 year long campaign of D&D 5e that just reached a huge bossfight. It’s the culmination of an arc we started 2 years ago. Recently jumped into a Pathfinder first edition and have been digging a little more crunch (and jank).
I have been considering dipping my toe into GMing soon, probably in 5e since that is what I am most familiar with. Planning to run one of the starting modules just to familiarize myself with the concept of DMing.
I think one thing that may help with this is letting users stay on their instance when browsing others. Right now, if I want to hop over to another instance, I can definitely link there or comment if using the appropriate channel, but actually going there makes it seem like I am signed out. Implementing features like this https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1048 would help make the experience feel more cohesive, and encourage exploration of other instances without confusing users and accidentally encouraging sticking to one’s own instance.
For accuracy sake, yes the depiction in the Olympics was meant to be Feast of the Gods, but that painting came after The Last Supper and is thought to be directly inspired by da Vinci. Last Supper - 1495 Feast of the Gods - 1635-1640
