So, what is everyone’s opinion on RCS-Chat? I’m trying it out with a good friend of mine and the functions are so much better, plus (in our case at least) it’s e2ee. I especially love the transcribed voice messages, because fuck listening to 3 minutes of blabbering when I can simply read it in a fraction of the time.

A communist isn’t a tankie per sé. Tankies are people who blindly follow authoritarians of a communist regime and defend/deny the gruesome acts committed by said authoritarians. The idea behind communism is a valid one. In a perfect world, communism would lead to the star Trek utopia. Problem is, assholes will always take advantage and turn everything to shit. I still prefer communism over the heap of flaming shit most of the world lives in.
And bureaucracy eats up what’s left. In the end we’re left with nothing to show.

My mom and I are German, though at that point in time I didn’t even have any relation to Germany at all, other than having a German passport. It was nice growing up in Amsterdam, but some people just really, really hated the Germans. I just remember my Dutch teacher, Vincent Koetsier, who talked about a tragic accident in which a bus full of tourists drove off a cliff or something and everyone on board was dead. After a couple of seconds of silence he just went “fortunately most of them were Germans” just to top it off with a classy “gore rotmoffen”. He knew my mom and I were German.
The good thing about this is, that the younger generations and my classmates were shocked by his behavior and reported him. He never returned to school after that day.
But yeah, our car had a German license plate in the first year of living there. I stopped counting the amount of times our windows were broken.
The 90s were crazy. Still loved it and I truly miss the Netherlands.

Sorry for sounding so harsh, I thought this was common knowledge but I appear to be mistaken. That verse was sung under the Nazi regime and essentially puts Germany above every other country and thing in the world. And that was Hitler’s goal after all.

Not really. People stop analyzing problems via critical thinking because things are becoming too convenient. Just look at social media. It’s so easy to access information, people stop analyzing the data and blindly believe things that they’re fed via the algorithms. These algorithms highly favor controversial material because it boosts visibility of ads. This wasn’t always the case. It became this way because it’s an easy way to make money. Now that money isn’t enough, it’s abused for political power.
For now LLMs might seem like a good tool, but if people lose the ability to do their own research, what stops them from believing just about anything an LLM bot tells them? Remember how grok turned into a Nazi bot? That wasn’t very long ago…
It just takes one generation to completely lose this ability. Don’t take it so lightly please. At least try to keep yourself mentally aware of potential problems with tech. Especially since almost all of the tech is owned by Nazi cunts.
Hasn’t been part of it for a long time… For very good reasons. Let’s not bring it back please. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to sing that verse in Germany and I’d rather have it stay that way.
