Thanks that’s quite neat, I do like the clever stuff people come up with using iOS shortcuts. However my suggestion was actually regarding the iOS native voyager app, sorry I didn’t make that clear in my post!

I know it’s actually also possible to use iOS shortcuts to put a fake app icon of your choice on the Home Screen for any native app (just done this for abomination that is “X”-formerly-Twitter) but I do like the built in icon choice we see in many iOS apps these days! That’s what I was getting at with this feature request.

Yes I must say this is a pretty weak bit of artwork considering it’s an official image from AM. I used to do the artwork for our sim racing club events and wouldn’t have been happy to release this. There’s a lot wrong with it besides the choice of beer!

I also hate spoilers since I often watch the race later. Me and a few friends will take care not to chat about the race until we are all in the clear. And our simracing Discord has a no-F1-spoilers in general chat policy. However I’m not going to ask Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, news outlets and now Lemmy to keep quiet. It’s just common sense to stay away from potential spoiler sources until you’ve watched the race. These days that pretty much means a media blackout for me! No internet, radio or TV! Worst thing for me is hopping on to a catch-up service to watch the race, and seeing the result plastered all over the front page!

No idea if it’s possible. Posting here because I’d also really appreciate this functionality being added if it’s not there already. Then I can check the voyager community to see if a new feature request already exists, before posting a new one!

100% agree on this. Wefwef has really helped me grasp how Lemmy works. So impressive for a web app. Incidentally this is my 1st Lemmy post!
