Also my co-workers and conservative family love to say it whenever a Republican does something illegal or immoral. It’s a scape goat they throw out when they get backed into a corner and can’t face the fact that they’re wrong.

Buildings: occupies so much land you can see vast gatherings of them from space. (Kills several hundred million birds a year.) Cats: look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power. (Kills over 4 times the birds mostly for fun.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Because to say that Putin has something on Trump at this point, is in some ways taking agency away from Trump. But I think Trump and the other Putin lovers are terrible enough people on their own. He doesn’t need to have any dirt on them, they just want to work with him because they think he’s doing well for himself, and they want that kind of power too. It feels like a much simpler explanation.

It makes me think Putin doesn’t actually have anything on Trump and the other Russia loving Republicans. They just really like him and are envious of his authoritarian regime.

This makes me wonder how far away a night launch of Starship will be visible.

Not only had they previously been here, they evolved here first and migrated out through Siberia when it still connected the continents.

I work at a wholesale perennial grower, normally just doing plant care. But this week I’ve been running the vacuum seed machine. Every time I take trays out to the greenhouse I get to walk through the millions of seedlings and it’s just had me giddy all week.

I think the people in positions of power are doing it intentionally. Their followers however are delusional.

To add to the point of cheaper versions. Best buy does this and those items will have a different SKU. They also don’t bother to take the regular version off their website, so you can check it against that. From what I remember when my ex worked there, it was a combination of removing features/ports, and lower quality control.

This article is misleading. If a car crash is bad enough that it damages the frame of a car, it’s going to get totalled anyway. So either way it’s going to go to a junk yard and get slowly parted out.

I feel like a compromise would actually be working four 9 hour days for 36 hour weeks.

My thoughts are similar to yours, I don’t think instances should be defederating unless there’s a serious issue with the content of another instance.

Good instances should be winning over people by being better than whatever Facebook’s ad ridden, algorithm driven, instance ends up being.
