Or in case you meant latin. Because I’m not sure what the point/significance of trying to translate it to Greek would be.

Eldritch@piefed.socialto Goth❌Industrial@lemmy.world•NEW ALBUM: Among the bones and corpses by Midnight Darkwave #goth #darkwave #postpunkEnglish2·2 months agoFrustrating. I forgot what a hot mess YouTube can be with playlist links. Wish these guys had a band camp page. They do not. YouTube is the main place that I found their work. I updated the original post with a link to at least favorite song off the album. I tried the same with the cross post here. Though it doesn’t seem to have changed yet? Piefed.world though is getting hammered harder than it can handle right now.

Eldritch@piefed.socialto U.S. News@beehaw.org•Can Burning Man survive the financial desert - and keep its soul intact?English7·2 months agoI have never been. But being in music circles that have traditionally had close ties with the festival. What I’ve generally heard is that it’s a shadow of what it was 30 years ago. For whatever that’s worth.
It definitely seems to be losing it’s identity. Once a communal celebration of art, music, and culture outside of the main stream. It’s definitely gotten more exclusive and watered down. Victim of it’s own success and capitalism.

He must really be sundowning hard to have needed to be told again.
Eldritch@piefed.socialto politics @lemmy.world•Gabbard plans to refer Obama administration officials to DOJ for prosecutionEnglish7·3 months agoYou’re not wrong that Sanders had some of the most toxic supporters. And still seemingly does. But there’s a lot of reasons for that. Part of it was that many of them just like the concept of him and were not supporters of him for any particular political stances. He was the candidate that the GOP focused on promoting the most, to divide and conquer left-leaning voters turning them against each other. Something Sanders himself didn’t want. But which worked in spades.
Sanders the person I think is genuine and a great candidate. I would easily vote for him AOC or Warren on any given day.
To an average user they are functionally identical. You wouldn’t even hardly notice the difference. I believe Voyager has a data migration utilities. To you get you subscribed to all the same communities with no fuss. Interstellar does as well. Which is the one that I used to migrate over all my subscriptions. It was simple and easy.

That particular patch of time. People were telling her as the most principled and moral candidate rivaling even Bernie Sanders.
Eldritch@piefed.socialto politics @lemmy.world•Gabbard plans to refer Obama administration officials to DOJ for prosecutionEnglish33·3 months agoAll the people that tried to convince me over the last decade that she was somehow an intelligent principled candidate. Where are they now LOL. She was worse than even I implied at the time.
I’m using it right now. In general the only compatibility issue I’ve had so far. Has been empty posting when trying to cross post. Though I think that recently started working. Outside of that everything that I would normally do under Lemmy has worked just fine.
Sadly the main feeds on piefed.world are just timing out ATM. It’s growing pains and it will get fixed. But otherwise piefed has been great.

They get to be such cuddly mops when they’re all grown out. Look a bit like Teddy bears. Our little 13 pounder gets carried around so much she hardly walks. But yes she gets a little curly in her eyes that are always annoying

Roll your forehead across the keyboard if so. Seriously though. It’s laughable looking at the levels of cognitive dissonance shared between people making arguments like yours and the maga crowd.
