I’ve got a few to work, but I find gog releases work much better than anything else because there are no cracks.
Once you learn things like prefix=virtual machine (more or less) it gets easier.

A Zelda game without real dungeons, inventory, puzzles… Not a Zelda game I want to play. I will admit to buying and playing it on the 3ds, but it was filler.
Great job on working through your library. I managed to wait until the PC release and a sale before playing tlou2. What a gut punch right!?
It is so well put together, without spoilers, I struggled to play from anyone but Ellie’s perspective until the final act. Then I totally flipped.
Chill out Ellie.
I’d love to hear your thoughts after you get half way or even finish the game.
I’ve been monitoring it. I like to have options and if I can convince older family members to get off Facebook I’ll take it.
I saw it posted on here much before it reached the threshold. I think that before then it was really just a few people running with it, now that it has gotten momentum, more people are sharing and we run in similar circles so it can appear to be overwhelming.
That’s where I’m at too. Most of my family is still on FB. But for actual engagement with the rest of the world, it is useless. That’s why I’m here and ok bluesky. I’ll probably hop on this platform to hold a spot and post there when I post on bluesky and Lemmy. See where I get the best conversation. Not about the number of comments. It’s about the quality. Lots of good questions brought up here.
Absolutely, they should have grouped all online social media together. It is strange that they separated mobile phones and smartphones, but I can see the distinction. Communication vs distraction really.
The same thing was said around corporal punishment in the past. We have learned that there are more effective, less damaging methods of teaching than yelling, and isolation. I have two kids, I have used physical force when they were too young to understand words (smack on the bottom while in diapers etc). I have raised my voice, I have grounded them from electronics etc. I am doing the best I can with the information I have at my disposal. When they ask questions, they get answers.
At any time I know my children could report me or my spouse to government agents, who would come investigate, review and if I was in the wrong, I would be corrected. But if I was not in the wrong, life would continue. The stigma that comes along with it? Thats the cost of having children really.
If the pre-teens you are dealing with dont understand what abuse is, that sounds like an opportunity for education, not justification.
Same here. Played on the vita. Looking forward to playing on my steam deck.
I’ve subscribed for years. So much of my content is already Canadian. There needs to be seperate rules when playing 'your content’s (like your music collection) and the ‘radio’ (DJ, recommendations etc)
So far, gridfinity and other storage management prints. It’s amazing that all the drawer organizers I’ve bought over the years just kind of mostly worked. Now with gridfinity everything is organized and clean.
