Unfortunately both rural and coastal voters seem to want to treat each other like strawpeople instead of actually learning about one another. Can’t tell you how many times people assume everything about me just based on the fact I’m from the midwest and don’t live in a large city.
I’m in the same boat, I live in a very rural area in the Midwest, and I lean blue, but I’m not distraught as to what to do about it. I just vote blue 🤷♂️. I’m not saying people living in rural areas are dumb, I’m just saying that this particular headline is dumb.
