Needle in a haystack I know, but if you happen to hear anything let me know if any clinics accepting patients!

I’ve been on the Ontario wait list thing since 2020 and I keep getting random letters in the mail saying they’re still looking for me. I had a doctor until 2019 or so, until I went to book with him and he was just gone. Google suggested he left Ontario.

I just go to a walk-in 2 hours before they open and I’m first in line. Better then being last in line and waiting until 5pm to be seen.

I think Roll-Up cups have better odds.

Our clinic has been facing a nurse-practitioner shortage for some time, so even if you do manage to find a doctor there’ll be even more long lines waiting for you at booking.

It’s pretty much hunger games out there! It’s crazy how bad it is here, I can’t imagine outside Ottawa.

If you live on the outskirts, it’s possible to get in to one of the neighbouring health units if the amalgamation lines don’t line up with the postal codes. They take patients from eligible postal codes, so if your postal code overlaps the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, for example (I think both K4B and K4C do), you can get in there.
