Heading to Brisbane to enjoy some warmer weather. What are fun things to do, especially with a little one year old?
minus-squareboomhauer@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 years agoHow fun! I’ve got a 5 and 1 year old and we hit up these places a lot (all free): Mt cootha botanic gardens (has a cafe, playground, kid friendly) Brisbane libraries often have activities going for kids and some of them have wonderful kid friendly sections (state library has a great kids section) Roma street parklands is a great place to have a picnic and enjoy some greenspace (they often host events also) if you’re heading out west, Rocks Riverside Park has a great water play setup for little ones and playground styles for all ages Southbank is also great, lots of food and play options, can be quite busy at peak times Depending on where you’re headed in Brisbane exactly, there’s some wonderful nature play spots too.
