Wendy’s is looking to test having the prices of its menu items fluctuate throughout the day based on demand, implementing a strategy that has already taken hold with ride-sharing companies and ticket sellers.
During a conference call earlier this month, Wendy’s CEO Kirk Tanner said that the Dublin, Ohio-based burger chain will start testing dynamic pricing, also known as surge pricing, as early as next year.
I’m assuming by “dynamic pricing” they mean the regular full price menu when it’s slow, and more expensive at lunchtime and rush hour when no one has time to complain about it…
I wonder what it says about me that it never crossed my mind that they would lower prices, only that they would increase it when there is more demand
It says that you’ve been paying attention lol
Grrrr. God damnit can’t any company not totally suck ass?
I think once you file your Corporate paperwork you immediately turn evil. Corporations have a duty to make money at all costs and I am not sure that that is moral anymore.
Cool, will stop buying Wendy’s next year
hire less workers. surge pricing everyday!
lol
