The misfits marketplace idea is great for those who have one in their community, but one of the bigger issues are food deserts, including communities where the only readily accessible food is from places like a convenience store.

I agree with your idea about community gardens, but even so that’s assuming there’s space and that everyone who needs it has access. And that people aren’t working all day, nearly every day.
