There is not a single reason for any human to get access to alcohol to drink.

Just to add the people who say that banning does not work is like saying banning guns does not work because people is going to find a way to get them or like saying we should not have speed limits because it does not prevent people from speeding. (Their opinions does not make sense to me)
Alcohol is one of the most destructive drugs. I’d categorize it with hard drugs like heroin or meth because it makes soft drugs like mushrooms, LSD, and weed look harmless by comparison.
Nothing good ever comes from consuming alcohol: It disrupts your sleep pattern, harms every organ in your body, greatly exacerbates violence and abuse, is so addictive that it can kill you in the withdrawal, actually increases depression and anxiety overall…
The only thing it’s good for is as a topical antiseptic. Actually consuming it is always bad. All the bro science about its benefits is completely fabricated (e.g., drinking a glass of red wine a day), and it’s 100% a terrible, harmful drug.
On top of that, most of its manufacturers are capitalists who don’t care that it’s killing people as long as they can turn a profit.
But I’ve seen what the war on drugs has done, and I can’t agree that banning it is the answer. We need to educate people instead and work to make it less normalized in society.
