Tucker Carlson did not ask Putin about how so many of his opponents wind up imprisoned and murdered, or the warrant the International Criminal Court has out for his arrest for war crimes in Ukraine.

1 dead opponent who also happened to be a xenophobic, right wing, white nationalist. Did we forget the ICC has a warrant for GW Bush?

Russia is in large parts culturally xenophobic/nationalist/right-wing, it makes sense they’d want to elect him. Why tf would they elect a leftist leader that has values they don’t hold?

You can say whatever about Navalny, it doesn’t change that ppl have the right to choose. Locking him up then killing him shouldn’t be allowed and is a clear indicator that he was a huge threat to Putin. Your comment adds nothing unless of course you are implying it’s ok for Putin to kill him because he was flawed too.

Also Putin has murdered many opponents

The people did choose, he polled the lowest of the presidential candidates in the last election. He wasn’t jailed because he ran against Putin, he was jailed for his extreme right wing rhetoric and actions. The US made him a martyr and liberals have fallen for supporting what they would oppose here in the US.

Ah yes, the incredibly reliable Russian polling data for the totally fair and democratic Russian elections! Surely Putin’s government didn’t have any reason to directly manipulate or otherwise skew the data to make their least favorite opponent look bad. And certainly all of Navalny’s supporters felt safe and sound voting for him, without any fear of repercussions from their permanent ruling party.

You appear to live in a world of hyperbole, making assumptions about things you know nothing about. You are neck deep in red scare propaganda

Because Republicans don’t hide who they are, every segment of society knows exactly where they stand whith conservatives, whether you are black or gay or immigrant or Muslim, you know exactly where you stand with Republicans. Democrats are like a snake in the grass. They hide among you and are difficult to see until they’re ready to strike. They co-opt the language of the marginalized give them a sense of inclusivity and then use them as tokens to remain in power. A wolf out in the open where we can see them is less dangerous than a snake hiding in the grass among us

speaking a lot and saying nothing at all.

The irony… As you hitch your wagon to a right wing blue fascist.
