A Void Linux repack. The serial is embedded in the package (check the releases page). Though it’s an old release from Ahead/Nero AG (about 10 years), it still works on most distros. No BluRay support though, only CD/DVD.

You can get the Debian package (.deb) file from the xbps-src template (distfiles=http://download.link/to/file.deb, replace ${version} with 4.0.0.0 in the URL). There are only x86 and x64 builds available (they did’t release builds for any other architecture). The serial is in the sed command in the template file, in case you would like to install/repackage it for another distro. You need to change the serial in /etc/nero/config in order to register the application system wide.

    Nero? Aren’t there better FOSS alternatives available for burning disks? What features does Nero have that make it worth the hassle?
