@pluralistic@mamot.fr @unwiredben@nycr.social I want someone to have a fedi:// URI that is precisely the same as https in “form” (minus ports, usernames, etc) that can be an “alt” for the page, thus allowing us to have browsers go “Open this with your fediverse client?” just like it does with emails or RSS feeds.

I use Graze forastodon. It worked both in Chromium and Firefox. Once I log into the plugin, whenever I open any toot in a tab, I can like, boost or comment@pluralistic@mamot.fr we need @timbray@cosocial.ca ’s idea of a fedi URI scheme to take off

On all posts, it allows you to switch to the instance’s view (and back).
