This is the style of show that I was expecting from Trigger this season, but this one’s done by MAPPA.

The stylized Z-tier public school was interesting, if distressing in a guignol whirl of vivid colors.

Otherwise it’s a solid production, even if I can’t quite tell where it’s going yet.

It’s not getting many upvotes on /r/anime but this is not your standard aesthetic.
