I can’t watch this in good conscience. There was 2 years ago a case of Hunger Strike of refugees in Poland for inhumane treatment. Also this show deprives all humanity from the people of this show. They deprive the princess of Free Will to go against her animal instincts.

I just coudn’t get into the comedy of the situation. That being said animation was really good. I loved to see the golden fields of wheat with smock mills doted around, and princess walking through them.

I am pretty sure that the first “torture” with toast is supposed to be shokupan. I love making bread and have made lots of different kinds over the years, but shokupan makes the best toast hands down. Specifically, this shokupan recipe is what I use verbatim and it turns out perfect. The only change I make is since I have a dark shokupan pan, I reduce the oven temperature by 25F.

The crumb is dense so that it forms an evenly toasted exterior rather than having large air pockets in which some parts get way toastier than others (think like an english muffin). However, the air content in the bread remains very high, leading it to be very soft on the interior even if you toast it quite a bit. Pretty much engineered to be the perfect toast bread. Highly recommended from this picky bread eater!

Great character designs, but even better direction that’s able to capture somewhat serious action, cartooniness, and food porn.

Great first episode, but as in all gag shows, how will it be able to get past monotony?

The animation was amazing, but it just felt like the same exact joke being told three times in a row. I have to assume that the story will move on to different jokes once it gets tired of this one, but I already don’t trust it to not beat its new jokes into the ground, too. It could end up being really good, but just from the premiere I have to give it a 2/5.
