        Technically, they’re making movies without regard for how good or bad they are. They only care that they get made. I’m just surprised they’re letting them be this bad with how popular Spider-Man is.

          I agree. I meant more that they only want to make movies that are just good enough to sell. No better and no worse. It’s an art they’re still figuring out, going by how well Morbius did,

            No, they don’t care about that. They’re only making these because they’re legally required to make films with these characters in order to prevent the copyright from reverting back to Marvel.

              I forgot about that. Both can be true IMO. Making an anchor movie to hold on to some IP can come the added bonus of making a little money on the side.

                They can be but, in this case, I wouldn’t be surprised if the “money making” comes from a tax deduction or something rather than the movie making money. Most of these movies don’t even break even with Morbius being the notable exception due to its meme status.
