I truly hope anyone that wishes to abandon Idaho and seek freedom will have the means and opportunity to do so as quickly as possible. Idaho isn’t just an unsafe place for women. It’s no longer a safe place to practice medicine which means it’s not a safe place for anyone.
This is such a huge issue for red states. It’s hard enough to recruit docs in rural areas (assuming the local hospital is even financially viable, although critical access hospitals do get extra funding) and now it’s going to be that much harder. Who wants to practice in a place where you can go to jail for doing your job?
