      because newpipe sucks and is stuck a decade or more in the past ui wise so everything’s ugly and really hard to navigate it constantly crashes just opening a video it completely disregards levels of privacy people might want like not allowing people to sign in for just a sub feed and then watching the videos unsigned in which would still be more private than the youtube app so you have to do it locally so their terrible web scraper system can take 5 minutes to refresh your sub feed during which time you can’t use the app at all and it doesn’t even catch every video newpipe is genuinely terrible use revanced

        It works, it’s FOSS and it has some pretty cool features. I have like 42 subs, so it takes like 1.4 seconds. Do you have better FOSS alternatives? I am open for recommendations! But I don’t wanna have to sign in with Google.

          Exist LibreTube, but I watch youtube on phone in kiwi browser + ublock origin, sponsorblock and return youtube dislike Because I want synchronization bitween pc on phone and open videos in tabs

          I know I heard back when it was announced it might fix some issues like the crashes slowness and ui being bad but there’s other issues with newpipe that are just due to their philosophy and aren’t ever going to change

          So excited for material you NewPipe! I think they wanted to finish some features like comments on comments first though.
