I think remains to be seen TBH. He not great yet but perhaps roster upheaval and culture shifting will help. I agree with some other sentiments that there are too many guys that want to be Him on the team.

Not great yet? That is literally the furthest from the truth. The dude has shown more gaffs and ineptitude than any NBA coach that I can remember. If there are too many “hims” (which I don’t see to be honest), then that’s on Darko from not defining roles. Who wants to be “Him” on this team? Pascal was developed to be “him” under Nurse and he has been deferential to Darko’s schemes that makes him 2nd or 3rd option at times when he’s clearly the best player on the team - you remember the first 15 games where Darko had Pascal sitting on the corner on the offensive end? Barnes is being trained to be “Him”. Darko has encouraged Schroeder to be “Him”, to take control of the team and be that guy. That’s on Darko - Schroeder has no business being the first option on this team and there’s been games he’s taken the most shots in clutch situations and Darko didn’t stop him. He has to be the distributor, and set up Pascal or Scottie first in clutch situations. Honestly I don’t see any guy on this team being completely selfish always asking for the ball and not passing. I don’t see anymore selfishness than any other team. It’s all deflections away from a roster and a scheme that isn’t working, a team that lacks identity, role definitions that has the team performing below its talent level.
