    The real answer if you actually bother to ask right wingers is that they genuinely feel disgusted and repulsed at trans/NB people, and they’re only acting on their emotions.

    I think it’s more to do with the fact that groups of humans need someone as a punching bag, someone they can use as a scapegoat for society’s ills (whatever they think those are at the time).
