It seems the only way now is to navigate to the community you want to post it, and menu>post. Is there a way to add a post button on the bottom bar perhaps, then have a post screen with a community selection? If not, might be a cool idea for future maybe if enough people think that would be useful. Cheers

While we’re on the subject, can Dev consider making TEXT posts the default or at least TEXT/LINK asthe first two default post type? I rarely post images and always have to double back, unless thats used as a method to get people to slow down and check over/proofreadtheir post more closely

Yeh good suggestion, I find text post makes the most sense in terms of default. But your right, current config does make people slow down a bit before posting

Yes that would be even better. I do tend to post a lot of images so I don’t mind that being the default. But I think it should be customizable because everyone is different.

The question is, would such a feature simply change which tab is selected by default when you make a new post, or should it change the order of the tabs. And if it’s the latter, in what order should the other two be?

It’s relatively easy to implement a setting to choose one of the three types as the default because a component for that already exists. But there isn’t a component that lets you pick things in order of priority yet.

Seems easier to achieve the goal by giving an option to choose default, rather than arrange order.
