I could 100% see this totally being “I just wanna own the IP since no one else seems to be bothered so I can market merch and/or for later in our post-AEW careers if we reform on the indies” and nothing else.
…but with him returning soon(ish?) and Luchasaurus’s recent story beats with Christian I could also see a possibility of a post-Punk-post-Christian-reunion of the group. Whether that would work or not or be worthwhile, idk. I can’t buy Perry as a heel tho (yet) so I wouldn’t like…be mad just…confused lol.
