In case anyone was wondering: this contributor is a researcher at Institute for Policy Innovation, a right wing think tank. The purpose of opinion pieces such as these is to spread their ideology, and give supporters something to claim credibility as its been published in a reputable news source. Best to ignore and find some actual news/studies.

“Democracy” has the biggest air quotes I’ve ever seen as they are proven bought up by companies. Democracy and money don’t mix. Shame Reagan thought different and we have to live with that mistake.

Fucking righties won’t shut up when they’re outnumbered, but when you call out a legitimately verifiable bias that they’re abusing it’s “Shut up pussies! Fair’s fair! It’s Democracy!”
