minus-squareagent_flounder@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up22·11 months agoHearing people dismiss your condition is pretty fucking frustrating. Idk about worse but it is highly irritating.
minus-squareagent_flounder@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·11 months agoAnd I totally agree with that. If I had to pick only one to fix it would be the condition, no contest.
minus-squarepixeltree@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up7·11 months agoNo, they’re just saying it’s really annoying when people attribute an ordinary behavior to a mental disorder that you really struggle with.
minus-squarepixeltree@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up6·11 months agoHe’s not saying hearing stuff like that is worse than having adhd, he’s saying that he feels even worse than normal when hearing that. Yes it’s phrased ambiguously, but you’re seemingly interpreting it as wrong as you can so you can feel superior

minus-squareagent_flounder@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·edit-211 months agoYeah I think they just meant the turn of phrase to be: “worse still” or “and on top of that”. PS: I’m still not making sense probably. I think they meant it like Disorder is bad but the combination of disorder PLUS people chirping is even worse. E.g., it’s bad enough I smashed my foot dropping a brick on it but on top of that I stubbed my toe, too. Smashing my food is bad but even worse is [also] subbing my toe [on top of the already smashed foot]
