Community / Polls: What are your issues with Splattercolor Screen
After streaming Splatoon 1 earlier today, I had a viewer mention that there is some problems with the new Splattercolor Screen special, and I later had a Squid School video appear in my timeline (I see someone from fedi in their gameplay footage 😊) talking about some of the issues.
I imagine that there are some people out here on fedi who are affected by the Splattercolor Screen’s effect. To those people who are affected (or even if you’re not), what are your issues with the Splattercolor Screen?

@splatoon@wetdry.world @splatoon@lemmy.world I think it kind of sucks because it is entirely about a sensory input. I actually have no problem with it - in fact it barely causes problems for me at all. But when I played with a friend they struggled super hard with the color changes, having nothing to do with skill.
Yeah this special is just bad on a base level.

I can’t focus at all when I hear certain sounds, so the sound at the beginning shocked me a lot lmao.I fixed it by wearing noise cancelling headphones when a weapon with splatercolor shows up, so it doesn’t really affect me much
I kind of hate that I ignored my initial concerns for people that are sensitive to colour changes because I thought that nintendo would be able to remidy for that though :/
