Hey everyone!

Just saw the latest update from Ernest, it looks like we now have functional spoiler tags.

Ooooo spooky spoilers click the arrow

Boo I guess

Format is:

Hidden text here
:::

And yes the word spoiler is required on that first line.

From my very limited testing via lemmy it does appear to work both ways (I don’t keep up with lemmy dev so I dunno if it’s new or not for you guys lol) so:

Going forward please feel free to make use of this when it makes sense to. I’ll also add the spoiler format into the sidebar.

Notes: The spoiler tag may not work on some apps (e.g. Boost, Eternity), this could change but exercise caution.

    heads up that boost for lemmy and eternity don’t hide the spoilers, if you’re using the apps!

    Ok, I think this is great, but I just wanted to be a contrarian.

    Somebody walk me through proper use here.

    I knew how to do this the whole time, I never needed any help!

      I’d love both user and thread flairs. I assume that’s what the (thread wise) ‘Badge’ feature is supposed to be for, it’s just never done anything lol.
